TET is a compulsory exam for anyone who wants to teach in the all schools for standard 1 to 8. The exam is conducted by CAC. Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) was launched in the year 2011 by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). As per guidelines of NCTE – clearing KARTET exam is minimum requirement for the teachers to teach in the CAC affiliated schools (Government/Private/Aided or Unaided School). Centralised Admission Cell(CAC)has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the KARTET examination by Govt. of Karnataka.
